Anna's Academy of Dance.

At Anna's Academy of Dance we provide a high standard of dance training in a friendly family run environment.

The Academy is run from a fully equipped studio in Snaith, East Yorkshire.

Dance classes are available for ages 2 - adult in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap & Musical Theatre.

The Academy has been running for 3 years with many of the pupils attending since we first opened.

Pupils are able to participate in I.S.T.D. examinations in Ballet and Modern or can enjoy one of the many free classes including Jazz, Tap & Musical Theatre.

Specialist teachers have visited the academy and provided classes in singing and street dance. This provides variety and prevents classes from becoming 'dull and boring'. All teachers are CRB checked as the children's safety is paramount.

2008 saw the Academy produce it's first major Showcase in the Joseph Rowntree's Theatre, York. A sell out audience of over 300 enjoyed the performance on 2 nights in October.

A major showcase will be performed every 2 years with demonstrations being shown in local venues in alternate years. The next Showcase is scheduled for January 2011!

Selected pupils are also given the opportunity to perform in major theatre performances alongside other schools. This has included "Hits From Great Musicals" at The Opera House Winter Gardens Blackpool and "Stars of Tomorrow" at Bridlington Spa.

The Academy also caters for adults with it's fun based adult Jazz class which provides the opportunity to dance... exercise..... and socialise!!
